Thanks :)
As a demi, I thought ads were removed?
This is true, I just figured it got through because they were updating the forums with post rating system.

Wunderlist is nice, fairly basic in appearance, but clean. One aspect that it does not have, or I cannot find, it a way to set a reminder, alert or alarm for an action item. I don't do this for a lot of things, but it is VERY helpful at times. I wanted a new chair for my desk and storables had their great bungie chair on sale. I wanted to set an alert to the last day of the sale as I knew I had a lot of things going on at work and home and could easily forget. The last day, an alarm went off to remind me and I was glad as I had gotten a call and pulled my mind away. I made it to the store before it closed to grab a chair and I would NOT have remembered it my app had not alerted me.
If anyone knows if wunderlist has this feature, I'd be happy to find out how/where it is.
Thanks.

DDC is a derivative of I2C and Macs have a I2C bus. The motion sensor is connected to the I2C bus, for example.

Apparently (as my thread was moved from general to wasteland in 3 seconds) polling people is against some rule.
I honestly want to know/need to know that I'm not singled out. It would bring me a lot of closure to know that other people get infractions too.

Ah, you have to enter "View Details"... Yes, it feels like they've disguised it a bit :P Anyway, thanks a lot for clearing that out :)

The G4MX is a fine card I have it in my new Dual/Ghz/DDR it was $100 less then the ATI9000. There is a big but here though. If you want to run the latest upcoming and greatest games you will want to upgrade in the future. That is why I got the G4MX in the first place because I plan on upgrading to the ATI9700 or the nVidia GeForce5 when it comes out. Either of these new cards will cary with it a ton of ram, all sorts of hardware lighting and texturing and will also be about 4x faster then the G4MX.

This is the adapter used to hook iBook G4s, iMacs, and eMacs up to a secondary VGA display. I no longer need it. Excellent condition, Apple sells them for $19.

There isn't really such a thing as a good "starting" tripod, because the best starting tripod will likely be the best tripod money can buy for your needs (a.k.a the best "ending" tripod), as it is the one you'll eventually end up owning anyways. Buy once buy right.
What camera body (or bodies) do you have, and what lenses do you own or expect to own in the future? Are you looking for a portable version? Or extra stability for very large lenses? Will you hike with it, or mainly operate it out of the car? There are many questions you need to answer.

Hey Guys... I'm really sorry I disappeared.
I totally forgot to check. I'm still here somewhere... if no-one has put a new one up yet I'll do it in a sec.
I'm very surprised at having won.

I really doubt the flat battery is causing this grief.
Have you installed any new software or hardware recently? :)

I don't think Mac Websites should be a category. and don't think individual sites should get their own wiki page.
In the future we can do a Guide to the Mac Web sort of collective page - the problem with that is competing interests amongst sites.
Also, individual sites can be linked from articles about their respective topics.
The wiki isn't designed to be a site index.

As far as I can tell, the "search to sketch" app is not for local businesses, it is for local restaurants only. I cannot find a way to search for non-restaurant businesses.

I'm OCD about keeping my itunes library organized too. But for genres, I keep them pretty simple:
Rock
Alternative
Pop
Metal
Country
Folk
Classical
Soundtrack
Jazz

Hey,
Every few hours, or maybe once a day, my iPhone suddenly comes up with "Simcard is not installed". I am going to the genius bar today, but will they replace it? How can i prove it is a problem?

Ya, I'd wait for 10.5, then buy the new Mac. And after that save up for you console(which I'd say not the PS3, but I'm sure you've looked at the other system, or have the both)
yep. have a wii... absolutely love it. now i want another set-up. looked into the 360 but the PS3 sounds like a better buy. (blu-ray drive vs. standrd dvd drive; built-in wireless vs. not built in wireless; free internet vs. not free internet; 60 gig HDD vs. 20 gig HDD; HDMI vs. no HDMI... any questions?) i need a mac more though because this computer set-up that i have (12'' G4 powerbook) is seeing its age. just posted this question to get a little input. thtnk you guys!
