This is the cheapest weighted keyboard that I know of. It's USB and midi, a sustain pedal input and that's it. It's very basic but it works perfectly fine, has pitch bend and modulation. I gave you the link on B&H cause it's the cheapest one that I know of, also I am in love with B&H and I reuse to acknowledge any other website exists ;) It's only 140 bucks. This may seem expensive but it's VERY cheap for a semi weighted keyboard. If you want 88 keys then they have a larger version of that. It's... 200 I think. As for headphones... idk haha

Duff-Man says....have a look at Apple's Logic Express (http://www.apple.com/logicexpress/) or if you want the top-of-the-line pro software there is Logic Pro (http://www.apple.com/logic/) or Mark of the Unicorn's Digital Performer (http://www.motu.com/) ...also, don't overlook Apple's Garageband (http://www.apple.com/ilife/garageband/) that comes as part of the $49 iLife suite....oh yeah!

and to the other guy: What does MR mean?
MR is MacRumors
The last Apple ads that I liked were the Think Different ads with Alfred Hitchcock & Co. And before that, the Charles Chaplin ads. That tells me a lot about how much Apple changed and with them their target audience.
Very true. The Think Different were great when Apple wanted to appeal to a niche market, then the iPod + iTunes ads were great when they wanted to build the iPod brand name (if you notice you don't really find out anything about the iPod in that ad, and it takes a little intuition to even realize that it's an mp3 player).
The main focus of their ads now is iPhone and iPad because they can appeal to the largest audience, and the most likely people to switch from PC to Mac on their home computers are people who have bought an Apple accessory (really anything with an i before the name) and have become familiar with the Apple brand.

So with Dev Preview 2 update 1 I am having collabd constantly crashing which makes crashreporter launch and take up a good portion of CPU. It is stuck in a loop and keeps trying to reopen. Is there any way to remove the server portion of Lion entirely(as I can't keep collabd from trying to start)?

LG-Philips is the current provider of LCD panels for the ACDs. I found this press release on the LG-Philips corporate site:
To meet the growing need for high-quality LCD panels in the desktop monitor market for graphic design and video production uses, LG.Philips LCD has developed wider color gamut products, including the worlds largest monitor panel, measuring 30 inches diagonally, as well as a 26-inch model. Both panels boast superior color gamut of 117 percent.
Maybe a refresh isn't too far away. Personally, I think the design and size for the 30" will not change but the performance will see a boost.

I've had T-Mob for three years now, and several benefits are: 1 year contracts, free phone upgrades after a year, GSM technology, unlocked phones on request after a year, overseas roaming, very competitive plans, including family plans, good major market coverage, all-local-all-the-time calls (no roaming, no long distance,) $.05/minute calls to Mexico and Canada - that's cheap, folks! And, voice transmission quality with my Moto V190/V360 series phones has been crystal clear with 1 bar or more signal strength. On the customer service side... other than the stupid initial computer generated person you have to get past, once you're dealing with a real person I find the service to be 1st class, and I've had a few discussions at length with extremely knowledgeable and informally pleasant cust. serv. agents.
Of course, in rural areas, the service is definately more spotty, and at times non-available... but I just wait a few minutes and I'm usually back in range. Somebody said the voice mail at T-Mob wasn't customizable, whatever that means..?? but certainly you can change and record your own message just like with any other service, and I see no difference there.
On the towers, well, T-Mob builds their own towers, and has some kind of mutual agreement with Cingular (formerly AT&T GSM) to use their towers for roaming, and vice versa. Fairly invisible to end users. In fact, I submitted our property on the Oregon coast to t-mobilelandlords.com for consideration as a new tower location. Bottom line: other than the lesser coverage areas compared to Verizon, there's not a thing wrong with my servicel, or the phones they provide. And with my two older phones, when I'm going out to do something physically risky, I just slip my SIM card out of my new phone, and put it in my older Nokia in case it falls in the river. All my phone numbers are duplicated on my new phone's internal memory as well as the SIM, so it's nice having a spare/backup couple of phones in the drawer. Try that with CDMA.
By the way, if you see more 11 yr olds w/ T-Mob phones, it's probably because their parents saw it as a cheaper family plan alternative to the competition. I doubt the kids made the decisions. Can you hear me now?
Now, come on Apple. I'm waiting!

People seem to keep forgetting:
E911 support on cellphones is handled via a built in GPS receiver. Usually users don't know its there, and cannot access it.
This sounds like the iPhone.
E911 GPS: Check
GSM: Check
Music: Check
Camera: Check
Not huge news. The only thing it tells us is the limitation most providers put in place regarding what the GPS is available for is removed.

Yea, I suspect the power supply also. It disappears when I unplug it totally (no Gremlins ;-)). It strangely also disappears when I turn it on. I was just wondering if anyone else had this noise? If I am the only one, then I will call Apple abut it.

MacBook Air is awesome because they're so small. People want that in a product.
Only for specific purposes. I prefer 2x24" or 27" monitor for real work.

Launch the Server app, choose Wiki on the left and slide the big switch to the off position.
Thanks. I tried but those 'ruby' by teamsserver is still taking up all the cpu usage. Have any idea how I can get them out?

Best investment? A 4G MiFi. I'm traveling connecting through Chicago and I'm watching LiveTV as I wait for my next flight. The video quality over 4G is soooo much clearer than over 3G. It doesn't skip at all.
