I'm seriously ignorant to all of this, but is there anyway that I can change the size of the typeface in the address bar to something smaller, say a 10pt verdana, rather than this hugemongous 12pt lucinda boo shiet?

I just had my hard drive replaced on my MacBook Pro. Before it crapped out on me I had everything backed up on my external hard drive. Now, all I really want from the external hard drive is all of the websites I had saved in Google Chrome. I tried but it seems like the options aren't specific enough to restore Chrome and not all the rest of the apps.
Any thoughts?
Thanks...

Unless there's an official study guide (which should pop up in any Google search), practice exams probably do not exist in a legally distributable format. Most Apple exams are covered by an NDA.
What is an NDA?

see if you can find kazaa lite, it's usually free (although some do try to charge for it, ignore them and find a free download)

It does. Just use commas to separate them, and you can call upon either with a smart playlist.

I have several images in a folder, I know how to access the folder, I just need to display these images in an IKImageBrowserView, so I guess a better question would be:
How do I display a folder of images in an IKImageBrowserView?
Thanks
You're really going to want to study the ImageBrowser sample code. It doesn't do exactly what you want, in that you won't be able to just copy'n'paste that code into your's. But it does contain all the code you need.
You will be able to just pass on the paths to IKImageBrowserView and it will load the images for you. You won't have to load the images yourself. But you can't just give an array of strings to IKImageBrowserView.
Your controller will act as the immediate data source and store the NSArray as ivar and/or property. It will respond to the numberOfItemsInImageBrowser: and imageBrowser:itemAtIndex: messages.
But it won't pass on NSString objects directly to IKImageBrowserView. Instead it will wrap the string in a custom class so IKImageBrowserView which implementes the required IKImageBrowserItem protocol. This custom class will tell IKImageBrowserView that it's being given paths to images and not images themselves. See the myImageObject class in the ImageBrowser sample code for how the wrapper class could be implemented.
EDIT: You can't set the dataSource of an IKImageBrowserView to be an NSArray of anything (unless you implement a category as sydde thought of). The data source must at least respond to the required messages of the IKImageBrowserDataSource informal protocol.

Yes, please bring back the clickwheel and add a 2" square OLED touch screen to the next gen iPod nano. More importantly, include the notes, contacts, and calendars they dropped for the 6th gen iPod nano and the capability for apps. I bought a refurb 5th gen for that reason, although I liked the touch screen in principle on the 6th gen iPod nano.

Ooh is that two energy star stickers?! Does that mean I'm saving the planet twice, or the computer actually gives energy back to the power grid?!
The stickers make Windows computers seem cheap in my opinion... Thats the last thing I want for my $1000+ piece of equipment. Apple realizes that, and since they have final say (as someone else mentioned), they won't put stickers on the computer.

Wow, that is great. Does the amount of the student discount depend on school, or is it the same regardless? Also, I called Apple store and they told me that the student discount is anywhere from $50 to $200. I configured the iMac online (Apple's site Education Store) and the difference between a regular price and the student price is $135. $2,349 (reg. price) vs. $2,214 (student price). What am I missing? 3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 2TB Serial ATA Drive, everything else is default.
The low end 21" gets a $50 discount, the rest get a $100.
MBP's get a $100 discount for the 13" and base 15" model. The higher end 15" and 17" models get a $200 discount.
I picked up a 27" yesterday, and received the $100 education discount.

Personally, I mostly like old school Christmas songs. I have the Time Life Christmas CD set. So, that pretty much has everything you would ever want on it.
My favorite traditional Christmas songs are Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, The Little Drummer Boy and O Holy Night. Favorite non-traditional is Andy Williams’ It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.
I also like 'The Christmas Attic’ by Trans-Siberian Orchestra (love ‘Christmas Canon’) and ‘Merry Christmas’ by Mariah Carey (picked this up in the bargain bin years ago, not usually a fan of her but it’s a great Christmas CD).

I have a mac desktop with Mac OS X version 10.4.11 and I can't open my files and or folders, it also will not let me "right click" or save bookmarks. Do I need a norton anti-virus or can I get this thing to fix itself. Sorry if I am on the wrong forum but it is a bit confusing and I am 66 years old and it's a feat just to operate on of these. thanks. coop

Well right now at Futureshop (retailer around here) a 2GB sandisk MS Duo is $69.99 cdn on sale, while the 4GB is at it's regular $149.99, although the 4GB was on sale last week for $89.99. They kinda flip flop. A computer place around here, NCIX, has a 4GB for regular price at $112.70 cdn, while another computer place, a-power, has the 2GB for $79.99 regular price. They aren't dead on, but if you shop around you can get them for a reasonable price.

I managed to snag an SE/30, and it managed to boot, but I got a floppy disk with a flashing question mark in the middle. From the looks of it, I assume that it is trying to boot from the floppy? Or maybe the hard drive is toast and it is looking for a floppy to boot from?
Any help would be appreciated.

Every time I think I've just seen the weirdest auction on ebay, something like this comes along...
After the auction ends I hope somebody records the inevitable (and undoutably bizarre) epilogue to this story and posts it on the web somewhere.
